The AUL Complex in Dublin was the venue for a trial for the World University Games today 29th April 2009.
Manager Kieran Harding (pic right), Gerard Dunne and Jimmy Cumiskey (pic below) invited 80 players to the trial having watched games in this seasons CUFL, IUFU and CFAI Competitions, CFAI and IUFU National Team games and a network of contacts within the game and in colleges/universities. Assisting the management team on the day were Declan McIntyre, Jason Donohue and Paul Cleary from the FAI.
This years games take in Belgrade from 1st to 12th July. A provisional squad will be named in the next two weeks.
