UCD reclaimed the Irish Universities Harding Cup with a comprehensive three-goal win over University of Limerick in the final at Terryland Park.

First-half goals from Tyrone McNelis and Danny Fallon had them ahead at the break after Samil Belhout had seen his 27th-minute penalty saved by UL 'keeper Alan Coleman.
UCD goalkeeper and skipper Ger Barron made a couple of fine second-half saves from Simon Malone to keep Limerick at bay, while McNelis and Belhout threatened at the other end.
UCD sealed the win four minutes from the end when McNelis got through, squared the ball to the unmarked Belhout, who made no mistake from close range as the Belfield side eased to a deserved and polished success.
