Colleges FAI 2 - 1 Defence Forces Oscar Traynor Complex, Coolock, Dublin

Darren Forsyth and Danny Dunleavy scored two first half goals to give the students a commanding lead at the break.

The defence forces made some changes and slowly came back into the game. A great goal by Mickey O'Shea with 15 minutes to go capped off some good pressure from the visitors. The Colleges however held out for a good victory in a great contest played in excellent conditions and great spirit.
