Three day tournament run on grass. The host college & venue is decided at the AGM in October.

The teams are seeded and randomly drawn into four groups.  Each game throughout the tournament shall last eighty minutes

The winner of each group shall progress to the Cup semi-finals with the second team in each group going into the plate semi-finals.
