CCFE, CIT, Sligo IT, Trinity, UCD and UL all participated in this year's Freshers Tournament which took place in UL on Saturday the 1st of November
The cold weather in Limerick didn't deter the 62 players participating at the freshers tournament this weekend.

The first games to kick off the morning was the all Dublin affair of Trinity V UCD and Sligo IT V CIT. Full results of all matches are listed below. Each team playing five 24 minute matches in the group stages of the competition.

The top two teams of the group contested the final. UL coming out top of the table unbeaten, CCFE just a point behind and looking to amend their only defeat of the the day at the hands of the UL girls.
The final was a closely contested affair, CCFE having to come from behind to claim the first WSCAI title of the new season. The final score was CCFE 2 -1 UL.
