DCU moved into pole position in the WSCAI national futsal finals with an impressive 4-2 victory over UCC.
The Dublin side broke the deadlock as early as the third minute when Cliodhna McHugh produced an excellent long range strike.
Michelle McNally did not take long to level for the Cork outfit when she slotted home from close range after excellent work by Zoe Murphy in the fifth minute.
DCU regained the lead less than a minute later when Michelle Watson found the net with a low strike.
The scores were level once again in the ninth minute when Michelle McNally produced a brilliant strike from distance that flew into the bottom corner of the DCU goal.
DCU then produced an excellent spell with Rachel Graham curling into the bottom corner in the 11th minute and the three points were confirmed when Amy Ryan burst through to make it 4-2 with three minutes left.
